Ironbridge Gorge Museum
From Citypedia Birmingham
The Ironbridge Gorge Museum is a World Heritage site near the town of Ironbridge which takes its name from the iron bridge that crosses the gorge, which was built in the 1700s. The bridge is partly responsible for the town's reputation as being the birthplace of the industrial revolution.
The Gorge Museum actually consists of 10 separate museums with different themes.
